(Independent)   News Review:
1- 15th hole is pierced by tribesmen into oil pipeline leading to Raas Esa on the Red Sea.
2- Widespread public condemnation is expressed in response to the bomb blast in Sheikh Othman, Aden.
3- Top Yemeni lawyers taking part in a seminar recommend filing a laws suit at the Constitutional Department at the Supreme Court, if parliament ratifies the law, regulating mass rallies and demonstrations, proposed by the government.
4- A petition signed by prominent political and social figures in Hadhramaut and Aden calls on the government to disclose the whereabouts of Hassan Ba-Awm, Socialist Party Politburo member, who disappeared during a demonstration on 27 April in Hadhramaut.
5- Major divisions are witnessed amongst members of the People’s General Congress’ organization in Seioun. Three distinct factions have appeared: tribal, former Socialist Party members, and the Sada (descendants of Prophet Mohammed)
6- Telephone lines are not extended to the Islah offices in Shibam, Hadhramaut. The premises are even excluded from the waiting list.
