Public Land Usurped
Residents of Al-Areesh area in Aden were flabbergasted to see a certain influential person bringing an armed group of the Central Security apparatus, which started firing in the air and frightening the women and children.
The aim of the unnamed influential person was to illegally lay his hands on a piece of public land, which the residents set aside for a playground and a prayer area during Eid. A high wall was later erected by the influential person’s cohorts around that plot of land, including part of the main public road in the area.
