Columnist Jamal Aamer says in his article the American policy has managed to play on the string of a long dwelling fear in the souls of both Yemeni and Saudi leaders through officially accusing them of harbouring terror and exporting it and consequently enrolling the two regimes among those that are on the list of change. Thus the two leaderships have fallen n the trap set for them the American intelligence. The beginning was when American apparatuses announced that weapons sold to Yemen were used by Bin Laden's followers in the latest explosions of Riyadh and that caused the kingdom to close its borders against Yemeni goods and offer information on wanted person who fled to Yemen and have not been repatriated. The regime in Yemen on its part leaked results of investigations with al-Ahdal the second man in al-Qaeda of Yemen and hinted to the existence of connections with Arab personalities and leaderships in funding and protecting terrorists without naming them. Undoubtedly, driving such a wedge between leaderships of the two countries has benefited the American bodies of monitoring and follows up because they would obtain information that would not have been able to see the light under the agreement of exchange of the wanted and information between the two countries.
