political editor of the newspaper says in his article fear hovers above the embassies of Germany and the United States in Sana'a and l-Mouyad is to stay for another three months in Germany before being extradited to America. Yemen's foreign minister considers handing over al-Mouya to America would affect Yemen-America security cooperation.
The Yemeni interior minister stresses the necessity of security alert, sending urgent messages to security officials in all Yemeni governorates. He has focused on embassies security and residence quarters of foreigners at a time a statement of the American state department warns its nationals against traveling to Yemen.
The issue of sheikh al-Mouyad abroad and chasing terrorists inside occupies a forward position in the scale of priorities, political and security-related. Fears are increasing despite official assurances on the return of al-Mouyad while the reality is that handing him over to American authorities is but a question of time.
It seems that the fate of al-Mouyad can be read easily. For the efforts are no longer useful and as much as they produce suppressed sorrow, they have consequences that deluded the public opinion and contributed to the loss of reality since his arrest up till now. On the other hand the question of hunting down for the wanted who accused of being terrorists seems violent in its outward appearance but rather unclear in its details.
Fighting terror should not be dealt with leniently and with little expertise. If the Yemeni-American security cooperation is declared in its general form the disclosure of its extent by the government is no longer a logical matter. Fighting terror by hiding facts causes a political and social crack inside and gives opportunity for the terrorists to practice their terror.
