Columnist Ahmed al-Ashwal appeals in his article to the government to take care of a group of data that would strengthen the value of the Yemeni rial after it has succeeded in the stabilization of its present price. He says there are indicators showing a number of financial factors for the recovery of the rial, especially the revenues coming to the state from tax collection, oil revenues that are witnessing steady increase in addition to foreign aid and loans, if they are used properly. He says that from information he got from specialists in this field that chances of the rials are good to be 50 rials for each dollar as an exchange rate.
The writer suggests that the government should think of organizing a seminar or any kind of activities serving the tackling of this important political syllabus. He proposes the invitation of experts to these activities contributing with their visions and ideas to this issue leading to raising the value of the rial and preparing for our country winning a full and equal membership of the GCC instead of partial membership.
