I just read your article published as your 'editorial' in issue 653 entitled 'Does anyone care?”. Well, I care!
I really hope your country can rise above the 148th rank in human development. You folks deserve so much more. Surly, the people know that throwing garbage in the streets is nasty. Not to mention how bad it is for one's health, the little ones in particular.
Is there anything I can do to help? I do care.

Dear Lila,
Thank you for your kind and caring letter, which touched me personally and should wake up the conscience of many officials reading it. If an American living thousands of miles away cares about their country, those decision-makers ought to care too.
