AMIDEAST launches new programs [Archives:2002/43/Local News]
Two new training programs to help Yemeni’s get better training have been launched by AMIDEAST, a non-profit organization between Americans and the people of the Middle East and North Africa.
Edward Prados, Director of the AMIDEAST, Aden and Shaker al-Hawid, Training and Development Officer, said these programs have been sponsored by the Dutch Embassy.
Unde r the programs, 128 female professionals will be join long-term training programs.
AMIDEAST, Aden is also training ten journalists as part of an initiative funded by the American Embassy.
AMIDEAST, Aden trains students at both on-site and off-site locations, using the latest techniques, advanced curriculum, and excellent instructions.
It is dedicated to expanding understanding and cooperation between America and the Middle East, as well as providing a quality resource center for learning about higher studies in North America. It helps students prepare for and take tests such as TOFEL, GRE, GMAT and SAT.
The tests are part of the process of administrating scholarships such as the prestigious Canadian Nexen scholarships, RNE scholarships and the Fulbright grants.
