Columnist Dr Hosni Al-Jawshaie says in his article under the democratic atmosphere that our country has accepted as a pursuit, I would find no embarrassment to demand from the ministries of education and higher education and scientific research to tech the subject of democracy in schools and universities. I also appeal to the ministry of endowments to start courses to mosque preachers on how to enlighten the people at Fridays sermons on heir democratic rights in order to ensure raising a generation saturated with democratic thought and practice and behaviour. A generation rejecting injustice and tyranny. In the west they teach principles of democracy and European human rights at schools and practiced at homes.
The extent reached by the west and some Asian countries in progress n some walks of life is by virtue of democracy and freedom that have become an everyday practice. We in Yemen have begun an early democracy immediately after the birth of the unity in 1990 and our democracy is growing fast and in the coming few years it is expected to become a gigantic tree of democracy. The Yemeni citizen now possesses full awareness and enough experience in and about democracy and has fully understanding that the constitution has guaranteed for him that right.
