As a Canadian living in America I am appalled, disgusted and down right fed up with the repulsive acts of the administration that “runs” this country. I have the fortune of holding a dual citizenship which I am deeply considering forfeiting due to the bullish and secretive policies that are now in place in this country. This country is currently governed by hypocrisy and tyranny, a government swiftly and surely moving farther and farther away from the people who put it in place.
I have had experience with the cultures and customs of the Middle Eastern region, and it is with the deepest respect that I offer an apology to the people of Iraq and the Middle East as a whole on the part of all Americans who do not agree with Bush, his supporters or his appointed cabinet staff. There is no excuse on anyone's part for the brutality and humiliation that these prison guards have forced the Iraqi people to experience and while simple words can not undo the pain and suffering it is my hope that citizens of the world will understand that the majority of Americans do not and will not tolerate nor condone these heinous acts of abuse.
