Arab Traffic Week Begins [Archives:2000/19/Local News]

Tuesday, May 4 2000, the unified Arab traffic week started under the motto “Do not drive fast for the sake of your family”. This traffic week was organized by the Ministry of Interior in cooperation with the General Directorate of Traffic during the period 4-10 May 2000.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Hussein Arab, Minister of Interior who said in his speech: “We are looking forward to making this week an opportunity for disseminating awareness of traffic rules and regulations”. Several officials have attended the ceremony including Ghaleb Al-Qamesh, Chief of the Political Security, Hussein Al-Maswari, Mayor of Sana’a and Abdullah Addafaee, Minister of construction.
