Article & response of ‘Abyssinia’ shameful [Archives:2004/753/Letters to the Editor]

The article and the subsequent response concerning 'Abyssinia ' are very concerning.
I think that the article and the response to the comment on the article were very disrespectful and defame the Ethiopian people. I am not sure what the poor Ethiopian people have done to this writer; but he seems to be vicious in his attack against them.
The author is obviously an Islamist and is trying to revise history to support his biased views.
It is also very amusing to me the way the author completely rips to shreds Ethiopian history and then spews sweet words about “regional cooperation” in the end. What a joke!
His talk about “Ethiopia” being the rightful name of Sudan makes me wonder whether or not he is a Sudanese Islamist.
