Attariq editorial says the city of Aden hosts the GPC 7th conference and hopes hat the conference would come out with decisions that enhance the democratic experience, mainly the conference's adoption of broad lines for political reforms that President Ali Abdullah Saleh had defined in his latest address in Taiz. In his address the president had mentioned about partial elections of the Shoura Council as well as election of governors of governorates and districts.

The editorial mentions that its focusing on the call for political reforms springs from the realization of the Yemeni reality. This reality requires from the higher political leadership to play the major role in effecting the reforms.
