The media people participated in a session held on Wednesday 11th October at the Ministry of Information on the role of media in the strategy of poverty alleviation. They confirmed that media alone can not contribute to poverty alleviation without making concrete achievements in reality.
The media people slashed at the poverty alleviation strategy because it is not clear enough to enable media personnel to contribute purposeful programs to poverty alleviation. They also criticized the strategy for not publishing studies and researches about media program.
