Regarding your article on “Oppressive Arab Leaders” published in issue 632, I commend you on your patriotic views and your courage to make the comments that you made. You spoke from the heart with passion and emotion. Unfortunately you know as well as anyone compassion and emotion alone does not breed democracy and freedom , but the will to stand up and say “enough is enough” and for every Arab to take full responsibility and work for positive change. No democracy was ever born without sacrifice and bloodshed and maybe its about time we considered it seriously.
