Extreme Rise in the Crimes Number in 1999 [Archives:1999/37/Local News]

Hossain Mohammed Arab, the Interior Minister, announced that the overall crimes number during the 1st half of 1999, has reached 6016 crimes, consisting of: 600 fire shooting crimes, 780 attempted murder, 117 death crimes, as a result of playing with weapons. In regards to traffic accidents, other violations and security accidents; it is reported that they have reached 23,336. It is also reported that the ratio of crimes has reached approximately, 93.5 %.
