Human Development Reports Inaugurated [Archives:2000/27/Local News]

The United Nations Information Center organized Yesterday a speech party at the Sheraton Hotel on the occasion of inaugurating the Human Development report and the poverty report for 2000 prepared by the UNDP.
The Human Development report, entitled ‘Human Rights and Human Development’ centered on the concepts of Human rights and Human development and their common vision as well as main goal which is ensuring freedom, prosperity and dignity of people.
The report stressed the importance of human development for activating Human rights and human rights’ importance to achieve a comprehensive human development.
