As an American, I feel for your struggle for free press and independence. I feel that most Arabs, like Americans, are salt of the earth types who can look beyond international boundaries and national stereotypes to see the good/evil in each individual based on merit and intention. I want to say this because I realize there is too much hatred and desire to destroy on both sides. Hatred and animosity that will destroy us both if we don't sit back and start looking at each other as individuals and not ideologies.
