Iraq’s embassy mourns GC president [Archives:2004/740/Local News]
The Iraqi embassy in Sana'a on Thursday 20 May announced a three-day mourning on death of head of the Governing Council Izzedin Salim who was killed on Monday 17 May in a suicide car bomb incident in Baghdad.
Members of Iraqi community in Yemen and some Yemeni social figures expressed their condolences to the embassy's Charge d'Affaires, wishing the Iraqi people would soon restore their security, stability and independence from occupation.
