Sunday, the 18th of May was signaled as the historical day when Microsoft celebrated its official new partnership with Mohamed Taha Hamood & Co., one of Yemen's leading accounting firms also representing Ernst & Young.
The occasion was marked with a reception and a dinner party attended by several high profile guests including Mr. Hussein Al-Shaikh, the Channel Manager for Microsoft in the Middle East. “Microsoft is confident that Mohamed Taha Hamood & Co, are the perfect partners to represented the biggest company in the world here in Yemen. Mohamed Taha Hamood & Co. has the required experience and is well-known for providing quality services evident in its heavy investment it committed itself to in training its staff to match our high standards.”
During the opening session, Mr. Hisham Mohamed Taha Hamood Al-Hashimi, the Marketing & Public Relations Executive of the company said, “This is a historical event for Yemen, where there is a technology transfer of importance to the business community. We are ready to provide the market with this enhanced and powerful product and ensure that the service offered is up to standards because our staff is adequately trained by Microsoft to make sure our clients receive the maximum support possible. I am confident of the ability of our staff, because we have a reputation to keep.”
Following this date, Microsoft business solutions will be available for clients throughout Yemen to integrate with their companies' software and to raise their overall performances to heights never reached before.
It is worth noting that Microsoft is the largest software firm in the world, and the dominant in the computer industry, especially in the Personal Computer (PC) market through its famous Windows operating systems.
