Kidnapping means attacking the personal freedom defended by Islam and the Republican constitution. Kidnapping also means taking something by force. Kidnapping is considered unlawful in Islam, in our constitution and contrary to Yemeni people's traditions and costumes. It is an aggressive attack against people's personal freedom. And it is an act threatening tourism and tourists in order to scare them and defame Yemen, considered a beautiful country by tourists.

We are against these actions which conflict with Islamic instructions and the orders of our prophet (peace be upon him).

Kidnappers are aggressive people always searching for their advantages, damaging the economy, causing poverty and weakening international relations.

These actions disturb Yemen's bright image and demolish the importance of historical and tourist sites.
