The Korean Studies Center is expected to be inaugurated at Sana'a University on the advent of the coming year, according to Prof. Ahmad al-Kibsi, Deputy Rector of Sana'a University for Academic Affairs.

The center is to be established at the Faculty of Languages with the support and finance of some Korean universities.

Prof. Al-Kibsi said the center, which concentrates on teaching the Korean Language, is thought of as the first means of contact between Yemen and South Korea. The establishment of the center comes after the last visit paid by the South Korean President to Yemen.

It is worth mentioning that the cultural and scientific cooperation between Yemen and Korea is somehow out of existence.
