More Ethiopian and Eritrean Refugees Arrive in Yemen [Archives:2000/27/Local News]

More than 500 refugees have arrived at Yemen’s coasts fleeing their homelands as the war continues between the two countries. The Taiz local Authority received the refugees and provided them shelter, food, and medicine. It has prepared extra camps for more refugees expected to arrive soon. Refugees expressed their dismay and anger because of the war, and expressed their gratitude for the care they received in Yemen.
It is worth mentioning that according to the UNHCR statistics, Yemen is currently hosting more than 75,000 refugees.
