New association for industries [Archives:2003/08/Local News]

TAIZ – Aiming to encourage and develop small industries, it was announced last week in Taiz that an association for them will be established.
The association aims at rendering consultative services, training, rehabilitation and preparing economic studies for small establishments.
In addition, raising working quality providing job opportunities will be part of its mandate.
The association has named Khalil al-Qadasi as chairman and Hisham al-Hakeimi as sectary general.
