Yes, no doubt there are many, many people in Iraq who are very unhappy about the turn of events there. Those who were loyal to Saddam have been deprived of the perks which came from supporting their evil dictator. They lived a life of luxury while the vast majority of their fellow citizens were deprived of the basic necessities of life. Saddam took food from the mouths of children to build more and more palaces and statues to glorify his image, and to buy loyalty from his chosen few. Yes, no doubt there are many people who are sad to see Saddam gone, people who were willing to look the other way while he brutalized their fellow citizens, as long as they were secure and safe. There will always be people all over the world who are willing to exchange freedom and principles for security, but the vast majority of people, and that includes the Iraqis, desire freedom, not just security.
