Park doors at capital secretariat closed [Archives:2003/652/Local News]

Yemeni investor Abdulla Ahmed Abdulla al-Maghshi, owner of al-Sabeen park in Sana'a on Wednesday 16 July filed a complaint with the general prosecution against closure of the park by the capital secretariat. Al-Maghshi said in his complaint that for personal reasons the park's director general had sent a false report to the concerned authorities alleging falsely there were violations and weak justifications.
The park owner confirmed that the capital secretariat had no right to close down the park without consulting the general prosecution, Yemen Times has got a copy of the complaint letter and other copies of several cases the investor had been exposed to before. The copies also show a number of complaints had has filed with the presidency office and that president Ali Abdulla Saleh had ordered to be treated fairly and to prevent any attack on him and the contract signed with him should be implemented properly.
