Columnist Iskander al-Asbahi says in his article that peace as a strategic option does go rightly with those who do not want peace. It has not ever occurred that the Zionist colonialism has shown desire for peace. As Arabs we have abandoned our demand of our land occupied in 1948 and began to accept that Israel would get out of our lands occupied in 1967 in Palestine, Syria and Lebanon for the purpose of reaching peace. The Zionist colonization does not care about our strategic peace ever since our leaders have adopted it.
It is good for the Arab summit in Beirut to adopt a new Arab initiative for peace but there should not be a drop of the option of resistance that is one of many other options. Resistance must be there in every part of our homeland. The options of resistance takes many shapes, not necessarily to mean war. The resistance that should be developed takes many forms, political and economic each complements the other at more than one level.

Editor in Chief of the newspaper says in his article events are interacting in a frantic manner in which balance and reasonability is lost and are heading towards sure disasters ever since the world became under a unilateral polarization where America is the only superpower.
Amidst such circumstances the Palestinian intifadha and Arab issues have become the target. This has been ascertained by the recent visit of the American vice president to the region, who has taken the issue of Iraq as a framework of his mission for aborting the Arab pressure on America as it has been expected and that was seen and felt at the Arab summit in Beirut. His aim was to deliver his administrations political and military ally, the Zionist entity that has put itself in bad dilemma. Reports point that its losses are stepping up more considerably than previous time and that eliminating the intifadha as a goal of the Zionist entity has toppled the equation against the entitys favor.
The Arabs and the Palestinians must understand the dimensions of that visit in order not to lose the intifadha and to work for supporting it politically, morally and financially.

Abdulmalik Mohammed al- Sallal says in an article it seems that the American White House that seeks to extinguish the fire in Israel in return for inflaming it in Iraq despite the strong unanimous Arab opposition. There is also a widening circle of European warning against any military adventure that would be reflected negatively on the international coalition against terror. Such military adventure would increase the disasters and ordeals of the Iraqi people and threaten the territorial integrity. It may entice the Kurds to demand having their own state if they participated in military action against Baghdad, a matter feared by Turkey that demanded the US Vice President to urge his administration back off from attacking Iraq.
Iraq on its part has been exerting great diplomatic efforts to muster support of many Arab and world friendly countries. Observers says the positive and strategic change in Iraqs latest stands by holding dialogue with the United Nations may help it reshuffle cards and tighten the grip on the America an military options, especially if it could benefit from the coming round of talks with the UN secretary general in taking a convenient decision with the view of respecting international resolutions, a consequence preferred by the international community.

Mohammed Musad al-Radie says in an article published before the end of the Arab summit conference in Beirut on Thursday 28 March saying our Arab rulers should understand that the Palestinian child and the Palestinian stone have taken their final decision and would not get drowned in the labyrinth of defeatism. The Palestinian child confirms he is no longer in need of initiatives and peace agreements or any stands leading to stop the intifadha, but he rather needs the financial and moral support and demands the rulers that their summits success is dependent on coming out with resolutions meeting the Arabs ambitions.
The writer summarizes the resolutions as following:
Arab rulers agreement, overcoming their personal differences and realization of an Arab reconciliation regaining the Arabs unity ,
-Comprehensive support for the Palestinian intifadha as being the natural right and the only way to liberation,
opening borders before the intifadha members and training and arming them,
Ending all forms of normalization with the Zionist enemy and severing any relations with it,
Considering any aggression on any Arab country as an aggression on the entire Arab nation,
Boycotting Zionist and American goods.
The writer confirms that the above proposals represent the minimum degree expressing the national and religious responsibility towards the Arab lands and sanctities.

Ali Mohammed Al-Sarrari says in an article it has not been secret that the recent tour of the Mideast by American vice president was to obtain Arab support to back the American desire for dealing a military strike to Iraq the date of which has not yet been finally fixed. Arab officials statements the American vice president had met unanimously confirmed refusing the strike and called the attention to its dangers on security, stability and future of the region. The statement of the Kuwaiti foreign minister was in this regard an eye-catching one because he did not remain outside the Arab unanimity and clearly expressed Kuwaits non-support for the attack.
In fact the American continued iniquitous policy towards Iraq and the unconditioned partiality to Israel and obedience to its desires for hitting Iraq would cast additional light on the nation of the historically unfamiliar imbalance that makes a superpower like the United States fall into the trap of such a tiny entity and to be keen on representing and serving its goals and interests. The United States nevertheless, with all that it possesses of elements of power and might, is forced to concede its values, ideas and ideals to be like a gigantic giant out of its bulging long-necked bottle exerting as much as it could of efforts to serve
