In its editorialthe newspaper says the American president plan he announced in his speech on the Middle East came to re-emphasise that the Arabs have no other chice but that of resistance and all bettings on the so-called peace should be snt to hell.
The American stand has been always biased tothe Zionist entity but this time it has appeared more impudent and unveiled an uglier face. Threatening phrases included in Bushs speech against Syria, Egypt, Jordan and the Palestinian leadership have made the speech a declaration of war.
Under the pretext of fighting terror , Bush has sent a warning to Syria demanding it to expell what he described as terrorist organisations and requested the Arab countries to normalise relations with Israel without the condition of the Israeli comprehensive withdrawal from the Arab territories. Bushh has also accused the Palestinian leadership of sponsoring terror, ignoring intentionally the atrocities and crimes committed by the Israeli army against the Palestinians. It is regrettable that Yasser Arafat welcomes Bushs plan or parts of it, despite the injustice it contains against the Arabs but rather aims at head of the Palestinian authority represented by Arafat in person.
Bushs plan is only a Zionist-American plan aimed mainly at more intimidation of our nation that is afflicted with leaders accustomed to submit to whims and desires of America.

Columnist Zaid al-Shami says despite local regional and international variables, and although Islamic movements have succeeded in coming out from many political, social and cultural dilemmas in which their foes have placed them, those who disagree with visions and programs of the Islamic movements are still thinking in a mentality of more than 50-year old. Insistence on closing doors of dialogue with the Islamic movements leaders and thinkers, gives evidence that intellectual elites are still hostage of the past and yearn for conflict.
When Islamic movements cling to constants they are described as being hardliners because they would not accept comprise over questions related to the ideology. They are accused of selling their principles if they enter in dialogue with parties and political organizations they differ with them in viewpoints. And when they carry out charitable work they are accused of having insincere intentions.
These intellectual elites have managed to control political authority in addition to having swag on culture and economy in Arab and Islamic countries, offering deformed examples and have been incapable of providing means of honorable living. These elites have squandered the nations energies and time has come when they should be forced to coexist with others and open dialogue with them.

Columnist Nour BaAbbad says the question of boycotting has for long had a much importance in the conflict with the Zionist entity. Boycotting as weapon gains significance in periods of conflict intensification.
The masses of the nation have appealed for and demanded the use of boycotting goods that should be boycotted. But those goods are still on the marked with the absence of local or friendly alternatives. Meanwhile Arab satellite Channels and press are still promoting advertisements of these goods and ill-reputed trade companies are still sponsoring TV programs and competitions. This situation has made the Arab citizen feel that these multi-national monopolist companies entertain influence to a degree the Arab regimes are unable to take a political-economic decision on boycotting. More dangerous than that is that we experience an effective role of economy and investment within the frame of globalization and weakness of the Arab will decision that give priority to negative effects of boycotting and neglect the positive factors.
It is necessary to reconsider reality of the Arab economy and think of it as integrated economic block with apparent features of independence, productions and revenues.

The newspapers editorial confirms that Yemens gate to stability and growth is democracy with its dimensions and contents. The political system should stand on pluralism as a base for effective participation. The experiment in 1993 and 1997 represented a translation of that despite the shortcomings that accompanied it as it embodied the large-scale participation.
What the election committee is trying to market through its letters to political parties, is an innovated method having nothing to do with our democratic experiment for several reasons
-It has no legal justification to rely on at a time the 1993-97 experiment has set a norm acquiring the power of law.
-Any basis for democratic action that does not depend on political parties participation, is a process of exhausting content of the political system and steering the democratic experiment towards totalitarianism.
-It holds the parties responsible for individual participation whereas it is aware that legal responsibility is individual, not collective. Therefore it seems that the committee seeks for inflicting harm on the democratic experiment.

The newspaper editorial says that the major problem of speech on the Middle East is his linking of the solution to changing the present Palestinian leadership and making reform inside the Palestinian authority. This stand causes astonishment and bewilderment. By reason, one would wonder how would the Palestinian people accept to have a whatsoever outside party imposing on them, their leadership and stripping them of their own will. How can the Palestinian authority make political, economic, and judicial and security reform or others under the threat of occupation weapons and aggression and the terror imposed by Israeli occupation troops on Palestinian people?
Without Israels withdrawal from the Palestinian occupied territories of the west Bank and Gaza strip, without ending its siege on the Palestinian people and their leadership and ending its occupation of the territories since 1967, solving the problem of al-Quds and the refugees in a just way in accordance with international relevant resolutions, Bushs demands of reform are nothing than impractical condition, and a expression of Israeli desire that Sharon has announced more than once.
Sharon has often declared his wish of removing President Yasser Araft who came to power by will of the Palestinian people through democratic free elections. Reforms come under normal climates not under occupation, oppression and siege. Bushs speech on reform on the Palestinian part is an attempt to appease the Zionist lobby, the fanatic Christian right and other pressure groups that deny the Palestinian people their legitimate rights. Also, accusing some Palestinian organizations such as HAMAS, Islamic Jihad or others from those living in Syria as terrorist organizations, does not go along with correct logic. These are organizations fighting ending the occupation and achieving freedom and independence. There is an obvious difference between terror and legitimate fighting against colonialist occupier.
Arab and Muslims and the international community should courageously and clearly face the United Sates with facts.
