Columnist Khalid al-Harwaji says in an article the justifications mentioned by the Yemeni interior ministry about its ongoing military operations in the governorate of Sa'da against Hussein Badrudin al-Hauthy and his supporters are not convincing because those justifications bear a lot of contradictions that make them unreasonable. Where are, for instance the Jews fighting with him? How would a religious party meet with Jews to fight with it in al-Hauthy front?
The sequence of those statements has disclosed the degree of confusion affecting the concerned sides in dealing with this catastrophe to the extent that created a strong barrier against believing those claims. There are reasons other than what have been announced to justify shedding the blood. Whatever happened and would happen, al-Hauthy and his followers remain Yemeni citizens and whatever mistakes they commit the state remains responsible for them and possesses capabilities and potentials for holding the reins of events and controlling the situations and spreading its control without shedding blood. The fighting parties should realize that each drop of blood shed for our armed forces, the security or the citizens and even from the insurgents themselves represents a loss for the country.
