As a representative of the Canada Yemen Women for Peace, I would like to say that the role of women is still being ignored in the developing world, and that is hindering developing countries' progress.
The studies and researches proved that most families in the whole world depend on the woman, but still the woman is treated as the weakest part of the society: Well thanks and congratulations to Dr. Fatihia Bahran (Head of WEEK) for addressing this issue. I would like to tell Dr. Bahran that the world at large echoes her speech and want to raise my voice with great persons like her for a mission to be supported by all means. The economical development of the status of women will bring the Democratic processes to progress.
