Shots inside Sanaa University Campus [Archives:2002/24/Local News]

Security personnel showed muscles last Wednesday at the graduation ceremony held at the Faculty of Arts, Sanaa University, to prevent students and their relatives from taking part in the party.
A source at the Ministry of Interior accused the Islah party, main organizer of the party, of being behind this confrontation.
A statement by the University Students Union refuted the Interior Ministrys accusations saying government-supported partisan forces were trying to prevent students from exercising their political rights. It added the celebration was organized by the elected students union.
Yemens Students Union also called in a statement upon the president to stop the irresponsible behaviors perpetrated by some security personnel against university students.
