Some refugees commit illegalities [Archives:2005/824/Letters to the Editor]

I would like to tell you that many Ethiopians and Somali refugees in Yemen, especially those in Sana'a are committing illegalities. For example, the Ethiopian restaurants and beautify saloons on Zubairi Street opposite to Al-Jumhuri Hospital actually sell alcohol and sometimes cocaine. I have even found out that some practice prostitution even by hiring Yemeni girls. We must not forget that we are Yemenis and Muslims and should not allow this to happen. I believe that the government along with the police and security forces with the help of embassies of Ethiopia and Somalia should crack down on those people and prevent further damage to our community.
