Sports press training course concluded [Archives:2005/882/Local News]

ADEN- Sept. 25 – The training course on sport press, which was organized by the Information Institute for qualification and training in coordination with Aden branch, was concluded Sunday in

Dr. Amin Nashir's Hall.

The course started on the 17th of this month with 15 trainees from different newspapers and to Sabaa agency, Abian, Lahj and Al-dhale governorates.

Participants were lectured on sport edition, reporting, and using photographs. They also visited several sport clubs to see some sport activities.

It is the first sports course to be held in Aden. Dr. Ali Al-hashimi from Iraq lectured together with Dr. Abdulmalik Ba-nafie, head of sports department in Aden University. Abdulaziz Omar participated as a photographer and lecturer.

The final ceremony was attended by Taha Shamsan, director of Qualification and training institute, by Mr. Abdulla Al-bidhani, coordinator of the course and by Mr. Wathiq shadhali, head of the Yemeni Journalist organization. Munir Mahdi addressed the ceremony on behalf of the participants.

Honoring certificates were distributed to the participants at the end of the ceremony.
