SANA'A, Dec. 5 ) A student at Sana'a University was kidnapped from the campus just after noon on Tuesday and fellow students held a protest later in the afternoon.

Students of the Pharmacology Faculty staged their sit-in near the front gate of their faculty and asked for the release Jameel Sha'af, who they say was kidnapped by unknown parties.

Sha'af is a level IV student in the Faculty of Pharmacology and he is in charge of social activities for fellow pharmacology students.

Reacting to the incident, the students of medicine and pharmacology faculties give up their afternoon studies and a committee from the Yemeni Students Union was formed to meet the President of Sana'a University, Khalid Tamim, and University's security administration.
