Syrian Businessmen to Arrive in Yemen [Archives:2001/26/Local News]

A delegation of Syrian businessmen and investors is scheduled to pay a visit to Yemen next month at an invitation by Yemen’s Federation of Chambers of Commerce & Industry.
Director-General of National Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Aden Engineer Ahmed Hadi Salem said that the delegation would discuss with the Yemeni counterparts a number of topics of mutual interests including holding an exhibition for Syrian textile products in Yemen. It would also review and discuss matters on developing trade and investment relations between the two countries.
Mr Salem pointed out that during its stay in the delegation would be briefed on the investment opportunities in Yemen and it would also pay a visit to the container terminal of the Free Zone and a number of companies based in Yemen. He made it clear that the visit also aims at broadening partnership between Yemeni and Syrian businessmen and investors in various fields, mainly textile industry.
