TeleYemen responds [Archives:2003/659/Letters to the Editor]

I noted the letter (7th August 2003 edition) from a correspondent in Libya regarding problems with making telephone calls to Yemen. As stated in the letter the problem seems to be in Italy. Your correspondent therefore needs to contact the telephone company in Libya or the Ministry of Telecommunications in Libya and advise them of the problem. It will then be for the authorities in Libya to arrange another routing for telephone traffic to Yemen.
Unfortunately TeleYemen cannot help directly with issues at the distant end but we will be happy to agree a new routing with the Libyans if they wish to propose an alternative.
