Training course on small enterprises started [Archives:2003/659/Local News]

TAIZ_ A special training course funded by the Social Fund for Development on planning and development of small and micro-enterprises of professional and handicraft societies was inaugurated on August 9.
Around 28 participants from 14 societies are taking part in the course that extends till 25 August.
“The course aims basically at training the participants in order to prepare and conduct studies for promoting such enterprises and evaluating self-capabilities.” Mrs. Raja Naser Ahmed, a female trainer at the Social Fund for Development remarked.
Mrs. Ahmed further noted that technical studies and production plans are to be conducted by participants. “The participants are to be fully equipped with the necessary skills in the context of marketing aspects as well as their strategies,” she said.
They are to be trained also on how to prepare accountancy system which aims at promoting the institutional structure as well as the societies' micro-enterprises.
It is to be mentioned here that this is the first training course held by the Social Fund for Development.
