The UNESCO is currently executing a voting project on the Internet to select the new Seven Wonders of the World by the lovers of history and civilization in more than 200 countries in the world. The voting is to continue until 30 June 2001. Since the old city of Sana’a is in the race and has a chance of winning a place, the Ministry of Culture is calling upon all ministries, institutions, and authorities – The Civil Community Organization, the private sector institutions, the social and cultural personalities and individuals all over the world to extend a helping hand.
