The Arab Sisters Forum and the Taiz-based Human Rights Information and Training Center (HRITC) organized, in cooperation with UK-based OXFAM humanitarian organization, a celebration on the occasion of the International Day of Women.
During the celebration, which was attended by the State Minster of Human Rights, Waheeba Fare’a, many speeches were given.
Dawah Saeed Ubad, a Yemeni woman who fought against the British occupation of formerly South Yemen, was honored during the celebration in recognition of her heretic struggle for the independence of Yemen.
