Writing about “freedom” while not having it? [Archives:2003/631/Letters to the Editor]

Concerning your editorial on “True freedom”, you should remember that is was France that helped liberate the American colonies. And we do not feel we owe them anything. Besides, it must be difficult to write about “True Freedom” when you do not have it yourself.
