Yemen appreciated regarding Oromo refugees [Archives:2007/1012/Letters to the Editor]

Oromo people one day will be living on their land peacefully. Exile and seeking refuge in a friendly and peaceful country is obvious for every human being.

I personally appreciate Yemen for its friendly support of Oromo refugees like other countries do all over the world; however, along with the Yemeni nation, I condemn those holding Oromo refugees in jail. I think this violates a UNHCR or human rights charter.

Is there any web petition to condemn this act of mistreatment? I'll try to find concerned human rights or NGO addresses, if there's a way to cast or add my voice.
