I am a Yemeni who is thinking all the time about the way Yemenis are living and how they will survive in 10 or 15 years because all our neighbors are progressing very quickly and building there countries and starting strong foundations, while our homeland mostly sleep in the dark. I believe that one of our problems is QAT, which consumes our workers' lives by consuming between 6 and 10 hours a day throughout the year doing nothing.
It is a pity that we don't realize the time we are losing in a time other countries are moving very rapidly towards development and progress. I sometimes wonder if our people are truly aware of what is going on around them in the world, or even if they know, do they care? I would live to see someone tell me what solution can there be for the situation we are in.
