I would like to respond to a number of quotes taken from one of your recent editorials about happenings in Iraq, Palestine, and elsewhere.
“…450 Iraqi civilians were killed…”? You said nothing of the AK-47 machine guns and the RPG's carried by these so-called “civilians”.
“The atrocities going on in Palestine…” I assume refers to the Muslim mothers strapping bombs to their children and sending them off to blow themselves up in pizza parlors killing many innocents including women and children?
“…modern countries give greater value to their citizens than developing countries. [But] it is not the fault of citizens of developing countries. They are mere innocent people who wanted to lead a respectable life and care little about regimes and political affairs.” Does that make it the fault of the United States? Where is the wealth of the Saudi Royal Family? Do those gold plated palaces really benefit the people?
“So the double standard we see and feel every day is a mere reflection of the economic-political gap between the rich and the poor, the developed and developing. This gap cannot be closed down overnight, but actions like that of the USA are not helping at all.” Does this meat that the Saudi Royal Family is poor and unable to help develop the Arab world?
Look at yourselves. Arabs are a little people, a silly people, greedy, barbarous and cruel. They see someone who is better off and claim that their own situation must be someone else's fault. They see themselves as victims and refuse to accept responsibility for their own situation. What a pity!
