The scenes of destruction which the world is witnessing as hurricane Ivan sweeps across the Caribbean and parts of the USA are reminiscent of the destruction which was caused in Afghanistan, Chechnya, Bosnia and Iraq as fighter jets swept across the skies over these countries and caused untold destruction. The world sat back and watched as powerful bombs ravaged entire lands and viciously took the lives of thousands of its victims.
Today the world is sitting back and watching entire lands and scores of people dying as hurricanes and tornado's ravage everything in its path. It's ironical how the world watched as thousands of people, men, women and children were being evacuated from their homes in Afghanistan, Chechnya, Bosnia and Iraq, leaving behind their entire lifesaving's and valuable belongings and today the world watches helplessly as hurricane Ivan and a host of powerful tornado's are forcing thousands of people, men, women, children to be evacuated from their homes also leaving behind their entire lifesaving's and valuable belongings. The conditions of the victims of the unjust wars were mercilessly changed at gunpoint. Nature does not need guns and bombs to change the condition of people.
Bush and his allies destroyed vast lands together with its inhabitants using fighter jets which remained out of reach and out of sight. The destructive effects of the falling bombs and missiles were visible to the entire world and today a powerful unseen force is destroying vast lands together with its inhabitants using the forces of nature. The destructive effects of strong winds, earthquakes and floods are visible to the entire world. On the one hand we have George Bush, Donald Rumsfeld, Colin Powell, Dick Cheney, Ariel Sharon and Tony Blair who are causing death and destruction in the Middle East and on the other hand we have Ivan, Jeanne, Frances and Charlie causing death and destruction in the Caribbean.
