Many people can not tolerate criticism despite the fact that it is tolerable and soft most of the time. Criticism usually provokes furry and irritation when the targeted individual loses trust in himself/herself. This kind of person gets enraged by criticism instead of utilizing it to develop his/her personal skills and trust.
Lack of a serious effort to avoid any notable limitation in the performance of a political organization, particular individual or group may be the direct result of indifference toward promoting mutual criticism or utilizing any available criticism.
In our country, criticism is pondered upon as a sort of scandal and exposition, as well as insult and humiliation. This is how criticism is looked at. Also, criticism, exposition, frankness and saying the truth is the kind of task that must not be used except in private. This vision helped accumulate mistakes and make matters go from bad to worse. As a result, motives of credibility and transparency have become infected with atrophy and degeneration, while the language of hypocrisy and complement and concealing facts behind our behaviors, practices and thought have turned to pervade our environment.
This is the primary reason why community awareness have become counterfeited and governed by deception, hypocrisy, complement and threats that don't place individuals and groups face to face with their faults and mistakes. Consequently, this fatale game continues to grow and float in the scope of self-deception.
This game is the origin of making change and progress forward. Notable lethargy seems to be affecting forces and institutions of the community and surround it with blindness and phantom that contradict credibility, correct vision and transparency, which are indispensable for advancement and progress toward what helps enhance construction values, establish civil society and create better tomorrow.
Multiple purposes and motives of criticism:
Criticism has multiple purposes and motives, but remains very important irrespective of its purpose because self-confidence, be it on the part of individuals or groups, is what can deal well with this kind of criticism in way helping parties involved benefit from criticism, based on the a Holy Quran verse reading: “Those who listen to what is being said and utilize the best of it.” As a result, the parties involved establish a unique self-sensation to differentiate between the malignant and benign. They begin adopting the idea of construction and abandoning the idea of destruction.
Adopting what is right and ignoring what is wrong according to a well-established criterion determining significance or insignificance of criticism is thought of as an urgent necessity amid the current situation of quick steps and multiple transformations. The current situation is changeable and complicated, annuls passiveness and motionless, but on the other hand, produces new challenges.
Getting things based on a fixed strategy is what helps make criticism an urgent necessity too since this modifies, adds, slows down and accelerates progress of things amid the currently changeable situation tightening thought in a critical circle that never serve strategic objectives.
Criticism is a constructive tool for improving, developing and dismantling self-complexes experienced by individuals and groups. It constitutes an effective coalition to overcome any obstacles facing development and progress, as well as leads to creating a consensus on what people should differ over and agree upon.
Criticism helps resolve any deadlocks and crises, and end claims of the absolute hold of reality, which becomes a detestable ideology that doesn't give a chance for facts, thoughts and postulates to exist. It also enhances coexistence with what dynamites transcendent ideological shrines as a result of excessive individualism and absolute discrimination.
In addition, criticism facilitates the process of social integration, diversity, difference, variety and vision of oneself and others from various angels. It makes a real national partnership having equal citizenship as its basic criterion regardless of the different viewpoints, thoughts, traditions and visions that eventually reorganize in a collective national frame based on democracy as a mechanism to control differences, varieties, multiplicity and the peaceful transfer of power.
