Ibb University dismissed some students because they did not take part in the festivals of the unification 17th anniversary. After media reports on such a scandal, the university decided to halt such a decision. But, the students were denied some scores which were given to those who took part in the event. What a shame? I do not think such standards are found anywhere in the world. Scores are given on the basis of academic performance and competence rather than taking part in activities which have nothing to do with the university.
